Like many people these days, we finally got fed up with living in the big city, having a big mortgage, and having to work full time just to support the 'habit' of big city living.

We've discovered hundreds of really nice small towns where you can purchase comfortable housing for amazing prices. Homes for under $150,000, under $100,000, even under $60,000!

We decided the quickest way out of the 'rat race' was to eliminate the large overhead of big city living, and buy an affordable home in a small town.

So we started researching affordable small towns that might offer the kind of lifestyle we were looking for.

When we first started our research into finding affordable small towns, our main concern was there wouldn't be many 'really affordable' towns to consider.

But that has not been the case.

In fact, we have discovered hundreds of really nice small towns where you can purchase comfortable housing at very low prices.

So yes, there are many places in the US where you can still find very affordable homes - and many of these are in the kind of 'dream towns' we were looking for.
